Seminary Trustees Concert
Thank you for attending and supporting the Trustees Concert. We hope that you enjoyed the evening and performance by the Three Irish Tenors. To assist us in planning future events in support of the Seminary, we ask that you take few minute to complete a short, online survey.
Founded in 1832, Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary has been forming young men for priestly service to the community for over 180 years. This year over 130 young men have answered God’s call to come to our Seminary to be formed after the heart of Jesus Christ. With your help, these young seminarians will be our compassionate and loyal priests and inspiring and effective leaders of our tomorrow’s Church. Thank you for becoming a generous benefactor in this important mission of the Church.

The motto of the seminary is a gospel citation "exiit qui seminat," which means " the sower went out." It points to the purpose of the seminary as a place where we train young whose purpose is to go forth from the seminary to sow the seeds of the Gospel in the world. The imagery employed is one of cultivation. The seminary is like a nursery where a young seedling is brought to fruition.
